Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026
VenomCode is a desktop app that runs on your own Windows PC. This page explains, in plain words, what we collect on this website and through the app, why, and what we never collect. Questions: venomai025@gmail.com.
Your projects, files and prompts
We never receive them. Everything VenomCode builds is saved as ordinary files on your own disk. When you use an online AI model, your request and the parts of files it needs are sent directly from your PC to the provider you chose (for example Google Gemini or OpenRouter), using your own API key and under that provider's terms. With the offline models, nothing leaves your computer.
This website
- Visitor counter. When a page loads we count a visit: the page, a general source name (for example "instagram" or "google"), the country, and clicks on buttons such as "Try free". We do not store your IP address, your browser details or the full address you came from, and we set no cookies. Your browser keeps a small flag for the current tab so a visit is counted once.
- Hosting. The site is hosted by Netlify, which may keep standard server logs under its own policy.
- Fonts. Text fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them.
Buying a plan
Payments are handled by Gumroad; we never see your card details. Gumroad shares the purchase with us — your name, email address, the plan and the license key — so we can deliver the app, check your license and help you when you write to us.
The app: licenses, trials and updates
- Activating a license sends your license key and your computer's name. We store the key, the computer name, a random activation id and the date, so a key works on up to two computers and you can move it.
- The 3-day free trial sends a one-way hash of your Windows machine id, so the trial cannot be restarted by reinstalling. The hash cannot be turned back into the id. We store it with the computer name and the trial dates.
- Checking the license and updates sends the license key and the activation id.
If you write to us, we keep the conversation so we can answer and help later.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your data.
- We don't use advertising trackers or build profiles.
- We don't read your projects, files or prompts.
How long we keep it
License and activation records are kept while the license exists and for as long as we need them for support and our legal obligations. Visit counts are stored as daily totals.
Your choices
You can ask to see or delete the information we hold about you by emailing venomai025@gmail.com. Deleting an activation record turns the license off on that computer. You can also remove a computer yourself in the app: Settings → License & updates → "Deactivate this computer".
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
